The junior c shamrox wait patiently for the caledon and center Wellington series to be completed in the west. Game 5 tonight was cancelled and has been rescheduled tentatively for tomorrow.
Our best of 5 final series will be posted in the next few days once we know who we will be playing,

The Clarington Shamrox won round 2 of their best of 5 game series against Peterborough. The last round of playoffs will commence next vs the winner of the Caledon/Centre Wellington series.

ROUND 2 GAME 1 vs Peterborough.
No doubt these 2 teams came to play.
Every inch of floor came with a price tonight.
Lakers earned a 2 goal lead in the first only to see it evaporate before the first frame ended.
Second period saw the Shamrox take the momentum and finish with a 7 – 6 lead.
The third got silly, Lakers picking up 62 minutes in the box and the Rox getting 35.
Clarington outscored Peterborough 3 – 1 in the last frame for a final score of 10 – 7 Shamrox. Next game is Thursday, July 29 in Lakefield.
Should be a good one.

Round 2 of the playoffs will commence this Tuesday night at Rickard Arena, game time is 8:00 pm vs Peterborough.
This should be an exciting series as Clarington Shamrox finished first in regular season followed by Peterborough in second. Come on out and cheer on the boys as they battle it out.

Game Two is in Peterborough thursday night
Game Three is back in Clarington Sunday Aug 1 following the Jr B Green Gaels game- 8:00 pm.
Game Four and Five TBD as it is a best 3 of 5 series
The Clarington shamrox clinched first place after completing their regular season with a 15-1-0,

Round one of playoffs will see the Kingston cavaliers In a best 3 out of 5 series. Game one is Tuesday July 13th at garnet b rickard arena with an 8pm start.
The team will travel to kingston for game two Thursday july 15th and then back to Clarington Tuesday July 20th. Game 4 and/Or 5 is TBD,

Shamrox Fans were well entertained May 7th at our home opener.
The Shamrox opened up the scoring shortly after the first draw and kept it up until the game was called at the start of the 3rd Period due to a leaking roof on the floor. Final score after 2 periods

There was free Cotton Candy for the kids, Frisbee toss for a looney, and Free Shamrox T-shirts tossed to the crowd.

It is with great excitement that we announce the 2010 Junior "C" Clarington Shamrox team has been selected. Our home opener is Friday May 7th at 8:00 at the Garnet B Rickard Arena vs Kingston.
Please come out and cheer on the boys!
Kids under 12 are Free, Students are $2.00 unless they have a pass- which we can get to you if your team wishes and adults are $5.00.
